Emma has been teaching flamenco, and dancing professionally since her return to the UK in 2001. She runs regular classes at all levels for adults in Greenwich South East London ,and also has a Children's Flamenco Class Emma graduated from East London Dance in 2006 and is a qualified Community Dance Practitioner which has enabled her to work in schools and on community dance projects. She is currently teaching for the Royal Academy of Dance, and from Sept 2008 will be teaching level 3 and 4 flamenco at the Bishopsgate Institute . Emma is performing regularly at San Miguel Tapas Restaurant in Greenwich, next performances on Sunday 7th December, 11th January & 8th Febuary 2008 (www.sanmiguelgreenwich.co.uk).
She continues to return to Spain to take courses and inspiration from the leading names in flamenco today and has recently studied in Madrid at the famous Amor de Dios school with La Truco. She has also been fortunate to study with; Angel Munoz, Maria del Mar Moreno, Manolo Linan, Andres Pena, Pepa Molina, Rafaela Carrasco & Rocio Molina amoung others. Guitarist
Andreas Borg, born in Sweden, started playing guitar at age 14. When he discovered flamenco in 1999 he moved to Spain and studied at Fundacion Cristina Heren de Arte Flamenco in Seville. He has been accompanying dance classes around London, and performed both solo and as part of a group. He started working with Ritmo Flamenco in 2004. He is currently living and playing in Granada.
SingerUlises Diaz from Toledo in Spain, is a versatile singer and percussionist currently working in London. He uses a wide range of palos either to accompany dance or work as a solo artist. In association with dance holidays. |
